This project involved creating an illustrated edition of Quino Collanes’s book
Buying, Stealing, Selling a Picasso.

The goal was to redesign the entire book, giving it a modernised appearance
and layout while respecting the original narrative.

The illustrations are original, featuring flat, vibrant colours inspired by Picasso’s paintings, combined with contemporary, modern shapes to create a fresh and engaging visual language throughout the book.

Although my process varies for each project, I generally begin with rough pencil sketches. Once the concept is defined, I refine the drawings digitally, adding colour, texture, and detail in Illustrator to bring the ideas to life.
