Trigonus
The Trigonus project is based on the structural principle of tensegrity.

The principal object is a coffee table. However, the total project includes its development, trade and material investigation, instructions, graphics and packaging design. Everything is grouped in the catalogue (see the last picture).

The table is available in two versions, the standard one and the Premium edition, made respectively with either ash wood or olive wood. The whole execution was hand-made, respecting the environment.
ABOUT THE IDEA
After discovering the tensegrity concept, I came up with an idea, building a table with three triangles tied together, creating the perfect balance once they are positioned on the right point. Thanks to this balance, it is possible to place a top.
The rough concept for the shape was based on the paper fortune tellers or cootie catchers, using the triangular structures as legs for the table.

The logo design is simple and modern, while making a reference to the most iconic part of the table, the triangles. It works over any kind of background and patterns and, if reduced, doesn’t lose legibility.
