The project White to White consists in creating a new clothing line using recycled materials. Some of these materials are used plastic cups. Cut into pieces can be used to design pictures and patterns which can later be sewn or pasted to different fabrics.

Though the original garment is simple and modest, it gains value and style after applying the plastic pieces making this poor and cheap material look refined and noble.
ABOUT THE IDEA
Plastic cups have become one of the cultural symbols of the XXI century. They make our lives comfortable and easy, but these throw-away cups affect the environment as they are not biodegradable.
Fifty-eight billion plastic cups are wasted every year just in the USA. For that reason, the idea of reusing this material was conceived. Giving a second life to items reduces the quantity of rubbish our society generates.
As we can see, increasing our quality of life while taking care of the environment is easy. Just a bit of creativity is needed.
