The Annual Conference and Exhibition is the largest event hosted by NHS Providers, bringing together over 800 senior leaders from NHS trusts, system partners and key stakeholders. It’s a chance for people across the sector to connect, share ideas and learn from each other.
The 2023 edition focused on the theme Vital!, highlighting the essential role of the provider sector, the commitment of its workforce, and the importance of supporting a sustainable future for the NHS.
The branding was developed to reflect this through a bold and confident visual identity. A strong red palette, combined with dynamic line work and high contrast, creates a sense of urgency and energy. The oversized typography – particularly the exclamation mark – acts as a central feature, reinforcing the theme and giving the identity a clear and recognisable presence across the event.

I led the adaptation of the conference branding across a diverse range of materials, ensuring its impact and consistency across all platforms. This involved designing email marketing banners, creating bespoke social media assets for platforms such as LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter), and producing animated promotional GIFs.
Each piece was designed to work across its format, while maintaining a consistent and recognisable identity throughout the campaign.

An important part of the conference design was developing a clear and consistent signage system to support wayfinding for over 800 attendees. Working across a multi-floor venue, the challenge was to create a system that was easy to navigate while staying visually aligned with the overall identity.
A range of printed and digital signage was designed, using consistent layouts, typography and colour to ensure visibility across the space. A detailed floor plan and exhibition layout were also developed, helping delegates locate stakeholder stands more easily and improving the overall experience.











Alongside the digital programme displays across the venue, I redesigned and adapted the printed conference programme. It combined a clear “at a glance” overview with a more detailed session schedule, helping attendees move through the event more easily. I also incorporated advertising content and stakeholder information into a consistent and flexible layout.
A key challenge was creating a structure that could handle last-minute content changes without affecting clarity. The final design was practical and easy to update, improving usability while staying aligned with the overall conference identity.
